Shri Ravi Jule belongs to the family of great musicians. With Pandit Sukhdev Prasadji as grandfather and Shri Biharilalji as father, “Shiksha” commenced from the cradle.
Learning is an on-going process and as he grew up he did it under the able guidance of his uncle and guru Pandit Mani Prasadji of Kirana Gharana.
Besides his musical education, he was received the Kala Sangam Award, Delhi and topped the All India Competition for Tabla in Lucknow.
His proficiency lies with the Tabla, Keyboard, Composition, Vocals and Writing music.
Besides performing in most of the states and the extensive coverage of the country, he has also performed in the United States of America and Canada on numerous occasions.
Not only on stage but he also gives performances on the A.I.R., Doordarshan and other Television network’s programmes. He has been widely appreciated by the music lovers.
Shri Ravi Jule has composed music and/or lent voice to lyrics for films and advertisements in various languages. Some of the films for which he has worked are Prayaas(NFDC film), Jeet(Telefilm), Tum Bhool Na Jaana(Telefilm), Anand Bhavan A Monument, Vanrai(Telefilms), Jaat, Dharma Bhai, Beero Begi Aaije, Meri Marzi. He also gave music for an International Canadian Film – “A Tune For Her”.
Some of the ad films that he composed are for brands like Luna, HMT, Rasna, TELCO, Allwyn, etc. The music for the L & T Cement ad was appreciated so much that it was later dubbed in 8 other languages. The albums released so far are Ibtada, Bhakti Ras, Devotional Bliss, Fragrance, Shraddha, which are very well circulated.
Since he himself belongs to the Guru-Shishya Parampara, he has sustained it with his own disciples.
