WHEN YOU WORK thus with selfish desire you entertain worries of the past and anxieties for the future. Which saps your energy. Worry and anxiety causes fatigue. You soon become exhausted at work. And you believe that work is tiring. This is far from the truth. Work can never tier you. That actually tiers you is worry over the past & anxiety of the future. That explain why children being free of worry or anxiety never get tired.  


Unselfish action is the action driven by an unselfish desire to serve a common cause. It could be benefit one’s corporation, community or country. Instead one’s embraces the general welfare of people.  


Selfish action is action performed in a spirit of renunciation. When one identifies with the supreme self. No anxiety to gain benefit. It is work for work sake.  


Everything in this cosmos functions detachedly in a spirit of service and sacrifice. Then sun gives light and validity.  


Where there is an attitude of unselfishness, a spirit of service and sacrifice there would be power, strength in that person or organization.  


An organization with all the input for effective management could still break down if it lacks character. the members of the ongination, particulary the chief executive, must conduct the  business with ethics and morality.  


Service: physical level  

The foremost value in business culture is service-centrednes as opposed to self-centredness.   

The culture of giving, sharing has yielded to the desire, greed of taking, aggrandizing.  

Human beings would do well to learn the art of sharing, giving, and serving.  


Love: emotional level  

Another ethical value is entertaining a feeling of love, friendship. Sharing of emotions. Empathizing with colleague’s at work.  


Sense of Dispassion  

A plant is bereft of emotion. An animal has emotion which drive its action since it lacks an intellect. Where as a human possess emotion as well as an intellect to direct his action through reason and judgement. A perfect human being is one who has emotion but is not emotional. Has passion but is not passionate. Has sentiment but is non sentimental. A leader therefore should use the intellect to lead his team with dispassionate passion, with disinterested interest in the conduct of his business.
