Given below are some very useful fruit and vegetable juices which are found beneficial in the treatment of common ailments.
Ashgourd, orange, beetroot, carrot, apple, cucumber.
Peaches, pine apple, grape fruit, grapes, pears, cucumber, carrot, apple and fruits & vegetables containing niacin and vitamins A & E.
Apple, celery, orange are the best, all other fruit and vegetable juices are good.
Carrot, grapes, apple and all other fruits. Adequate intake of vitamin
vitamin E, and in certain cases vitamin Bs is recommended.
Beetroot juice, cabbage, carrot, celery, tomato, spinach, apple, cherries, berries, pomegranate, grapes, raisins, figs, dates, peaches; vitamin B12 is a must for prevention and cure of anemia. The whole range of vitamin B and C is also vital.
Carrot juice in combination with beetroot and cucumber juice is very good. Fenugreek seeds tea. Other fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Well-balanced diet of seeds, nuts, grains, fruits and vegetables.
Grape fruit, pine apple, lemon, carrot and juices of green leafy vegetables. Vitamin C is very helpful too. Diet of seeds, nuts, grains, and plenty of raw vegetables and fruits.
Juices extracted from green leafy vegetables-viz. spinach mixed with carrot, celery, beetroot juice. Fresh pine apple and lime juice. Fresh potato juice drunk 1:1 with water in the morning is beneficial.
Honey, carrot, spinach, celery, raisins, apricot, pine apple, lemon, orange, pears or peaches. Avoid banana and jack-fruit.
Salad of raw vegetables viz. tomato, carrot, cabbage, cucumber, radish, lettuce and all fruits except banana. Protein, vitamins C, D, calcium and phosphorous are also helpful.
Juice of orange (in warm water especially when attack is acute) All fruits are good except jack-fruit and banana.
Celery, apple, tomato, carrot, parsley, lemon, raspberry or plum juices are helpful.
BOILS AND CARBUNCLES
Carrot and spinach, carrot and
cucumber; orange, grape-fruit, spinach, turnip juices are recommended.
3 large beetroots
1 grated coconut
2 big apples
1 cup chopped nuts and raisins
100 gms honey
1 teaspoon finely powdered elaichi
Grate beetroot and core/cut apple into small cubes.
Mix together beetroot, grated coconut, half of the nuts and raisins, honey, elaichi and apple.
Decorate with the remaining dry fruits/nuts.
