Excerpts from the book ‘Exam Warriors’ by PM Narendra Modiji.
Swami Vivekananda would often quote from Upanishads, (Aham Brahmasmi), which means, each soul is a manifestation of divinity. Meditate daily on this reality and it will fill you with an unparalleled spirit of self-confidence.
Your ability knowledge and preparation are enough to propel you towards success. Have faith remember what swamiji taught, ‘If you have faith in all the Gods …… and still have no faith in yourselves, there is no salvation for you’.
Trust yourself! During exam time, the possibility of rumours and misinformation reaching you can be high. Do not fall prey to them. Rumours are negative, almost never true and will not affect you if you are well prepared.
Have you observed divers? They jump into the water from a height trusting their own abilities, not with the hope that someone else will catch them.
Confidence is not about knowing everything; it comes from identifying and celebrating even the smallest of your strengths. You never know which of your many strengths can help you or others in good and not so good times. In fact, always be proactive in serving others, for that is an excellent way to realize your own hidden strengths.
Hence, instead of allowing your weaknesses to overpower your strengths, celebrate your strengths, put them to good use and overcome your weaknesses.
